| Personal property claims - valuable and electrical items are not covered if packed in suitcases or in any way left unattended by the policy holder. There is a financial limit on single items and valuable items (eg camcorders) so please ensure that these are covered under your all risks household cover |
| Duty of care - you have a responsibility under common law to look after yourself and your property as carefully as you would do if you had no insurance. |
| Policy excesses - this is the first amount of any claim for which you will be liable and is payable per person, per claim,per section. |
| Fraud - Fraudulent or exaggerated of claims will automatically void your rights under the contract of insurance |
| Cooling off period - if, during the week after you buy the policy you decide that it is in some way inadequate you may ask for a full refund. |
